Welcome to our LEED certified home in Villa Cay at the Ocean Reef Club. It is the perfect house for special events or a family getaway.
We chose the property for its unmatched location. It is walking distance to the most popular club amenities including Buccaneer Island (pools, beach, dining), Fishing Village (shopping, dining, fishing and diving charters, groceries), Marina, Marina Fitness Center, The Inn (hotel and dining), Waterside (dining), Town Hall and Carysfort (special events).
We designed our home to be an elegant, but casual and fun Keys retreat. Our five bedroom, five bath house sleeps 10 and features an inside-outside open floor plan with hideaway sliding doors, 1,600 square feet of covered wrap-around porches, outdoor kitchen, infinity pool, hot tub, Sonos sound system, pool & ping pong table, games, and a bocce court. The interior of the home is bright and open and is decorated in contemporary beach style with original underwater artwork by Stephen Frink.
Your entire group will have comfort, privacy, and five star hotel-like accommodations. Each bedroom has a private ensuite bathroom and flatscreen TV. There are two master bedrooms with king size beds, each with patio/balcony access. Additionally, there are three queen bedrooms (one queen bedroom features a Murphy bed and doubles as an office). A 24/7 property manager is available for any special needs.
For meals at home, the open kitchen features two islands, high end appliances and a gas range. The house is perfect for al fresco dining and entertaining. The outdoor kitchen and bar area has a gas grill, refrigerator, ice maker, sink and large TV. The great room, which opens to the outside has a 65" TV and Sonos sound system. The dining room features seating for 12 and a separate breakfast table seats 8 and makes a perfect location to set out a buffet.
Finally, we’re proud to boast that our home is the first - and only - residence in Ocean Reef to feature LEED Gold Certification. Details like low-E windows, additional insulation, a non-toxic mosquito misting system, and a special roof, combine to create a home that offers superior comfort while meeting rigorous standards for energy efficiency and environmental responsibility.

About the Owner
I am twice retired - first as a dentist and early innovator of dental insurance plans, then as the owner of a marine-related business. I tried to build the perfect house so my family and friends would want to visit me as much as possible!
I chose the location so we'd be near the water for boating, sailing, snorkeling, and more. The house is centrally located in Ocean Reef so you are walking distance from many of the most popular amenities including the pools and dining and buccaneer island, shopping and dining at the fishing village, the hotel and the marina.
